Asia Argento and Ashton Whitty

Ashton Blaise Whitty is an American actress born in Berkeley on the 1st of October 1995. She is a famous actress who was on Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2006,) and Chrissie mayr's Content House.

Asia Argento grew up in Rome Italy. Her family is made up of actors and she herself has been doing both professions. The actress made her debut when she was only nine in the film of Sergio Citti's Sogni e bisogni (1985). In 1988, she played her role as the main character in the debut film of Cristina Comencini, Zoo (1988), as well as being in the ensemble of The Church (1989), directed by Michele Soavi. In 1989 she portrayed Nanni Moretti's baby in Red Wood Pigeon. (Also directed by Moretti). Close Friends (1992) by Michele Placido (both writer and director) is where Asia really began to become a household name. It let her progress beyond the role of cute girls into more complex, mature characters. The film was given a positive reception at the Cannes International Film Festival. For Trauma (1993), she worked for the first time with her father, famed Italian horror director Dario Argento (her mother is one of Argento's favorite actresses, Daria Nicolodi, playing an anorexic girl in search of her parents' killer. The Phantom of the Opera is the third film she's made together with her father, the other two being Trauma and The Stendhal Syndrome. Asia's deeply absorbed and dramatic style was well-used in Giuseppe Piccioni's Condannato A Nozze. In 1993, she co-starred in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di Vista where she played Arianna a physically handicapped girl--an intricate, difficult part that earned her an award from David di Donatello award for the best actress . Patrice Chereau was the director. Queen Margot for which she played a crucial role. She also was in a role alongside Michel Piccoli as Traveling Companion in the film Peter Del Monte. This performance earned her an award from David di Donatello (for the top actor) as well as a Grolla de Oro. Asia started directing short films in the year 1994. She made two: Prospettive In 1996, she produced a documentary on her father, and Abel/Asia, 1998, on the famous film director Abel Ferrara. This latter was presented by the Rome Film Festival. In 1999, Asia was the first to direct a feature film by directing Scarlet Diva (2000), where she acted as the leading actress and author for the script. The movie was released worldwide in May 2000. It was also released in Brooklyn, New York it won a award at the Williamsburg film festival. Anna Lou was her first born child in the year 2001. After having directed a number of music videos, she welcomed Anna Lou. The year 2002 saw Asia appear as Jean-Marc Bar's co-star The Red Siren (Olivier Megaton) as well as Vin Diesel was the star in Rob Cohen's thriller The Action. Asia is the creator of a number of short stories that were published in a variety of magazines.
